What is Grok Imagine?

Grok Imagine is the image and video generation model from xAI, the company behind the Grok assistant. Its video mode turns a short text prompt into a clip with motion and sound. On GenModelHub you can run the Grok Imagine video model directly from this page and pay per clip with credits – you don't need an X account or a Grok subscription. How to use the Grok video generator

1. The generator at the top of this page is already set to Grok Imagine.

2. Write one or two sentences: subject, action, setting, camera. Example: "A red fox trots across a snowy field at sunrise, low tracking shot, breath visible in the cold air."

3. Choose 6 or 10 seconds and a format – 9:16 for TikTok, Reels and Shorts, 16:9 for YouTube, 1:1 or 2:3 for feeds.

4. Press Generate. A clip usually takes one to three minutes. Play it, download the MP4, or change one part of the prompt and run it again.

Grok Imagine prompt tips

Start with the subject and the action, then add the place, the light and one camera move. Short, concrete prompts work better than long lists of adjectives. Name the sound you want ("waves and gulls", "crowd cheering") if it matters. For a series of clips, keep the same description of your character and change only the action.

Grok Imagine vs Seedance and Veo
